COMPETITION INFORMATION

ELIGIBILITY IS AS FOLLOWS:

ELIGIBILITY FOR MISS SOUTHLAKE'S TEEN

Age: Must be 14 as state competition and no older than 17 at state competition

School, Residency, Employment:

Reside in the State of Texas (may use parent’s address for residency);

Must be successfully enrolled and attending classes on a full-time basis at an accredited public or private school, or home schooled in Texas

Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen

Private Interview (30%): Candidates will meet with the judges for a 10-minute private interview.

Talent (20%): Candidates must present a 90-second talent presentation of their choosing.

Onstage Question (10%): Candidates may wear an evening gown of their choice. Evening Gowns should be age appropriate.

Evening Gown (20%):  Candidates will be asked one question about their Community Service initiative.

Physical Fitness: (20%) Candidates will model Rebel Athletic x Miss America fitness wear.

ELIGIBILITY FOR MISS SOUTHLAKE

Age: Must be 18 as state competition and no older than 27 at state competition

School, Residency, Employment: Requirement satisfied by one of the following:

Reside in the State of Texas (may use parent’s address for residency);

Enrolled in and physically attending classes at an accredited college; OR 

Employed on a full-time basis in the State of Texas

Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen
